How to Stay Motivated When Running Gets Hard


Is staying motivated when running hard? Yes. Is running worth the hype? Also yes.

When I first started running, I quickly learned that I did not tolerate discomfort well. I knew then that running was good for me because it challenged the weakest parts of myself. And so here we are — a runner girlie now 💁🏻‍♀️

Here’s the thing >> in order to get better at running, you have to be willing to sit in the suck. Your mind will want to give up before your body will.

One thing to remember? You are worth fighting for, you beautiful running psycho. I will continue to push you to pursue performance based goals, strength and grit because NO ONE can take that from you. It’s proof you CAN do hard things.
