The Ultimate Guide to Building an Awesome Home Gym

As someone who loves lash extensions and getting her nails done, believe me when I say I NEVER thought I’d be a “home gym girly,” let alone that it would be one of my FAVORITE ways I’ve ever spent money - but here we are.

Having a home gym as a busy mom of multiple kiddos has been LIFE CHANGING. My only regret? Not doing it sooner.

Even if you can’t relate to loving boujee beauty stuff (or having kids), you probably CAN relate to the struggle of being busy and trying to juggle eleven billion things while also trying to eat well, workout regularly, and reach whatever goals you may have.

So whether you want to build an awesome home gym (and cancel your gym membership completely), sometimes workout from home and sometimes at a gym, or anything in-between, I’ve got you with this home gym guide. Happy swiping!

ps: whether you’re lifting from home, at a gym, or with dumbbells only, @paragontrainingmethods has your back on workout programs that you can do in 30, 45, or 60 min/day!

Favorite Places to Buy Equipment From:
⚡️Rogue Fitness, Get RXd, Fringe Sport, Amazon (for things like DB’s)

Home Gym Location Ideas:
⚡️Garage: just letting you know, you might see the occasional spider or lizard. You may need to buy in a few fans. But a garage really is the perfect space for throwing around heavy weights

⚡️Basement: great way to hide from the kids, AND it’s probably cooler down there too. Pop in headphones, ignore the world’s problems, and go hide underground!

⚡️Spare Bedroom: Working out in A/C? In a room close to the snack pantry? Putting in reps while watching Parks and Rec re-runs? Say less.
